The International Conference of Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine for Neurodegenerative Diseases is a joint effort between the:
- Tzu Chi Hospital in Hualien, Taiwan,
- Bedford Stem Cell Research Foundation,
- W. M. Keck Center for Collaborative Neuroscience at Rutgers University, and the
- China Spinal Cord Injury Network.
The International Conference of Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine for Neurodegenerative Diseases to be held at the Tzu-Chi Hospital in Hualien, Taiwan on April 22-24, 2010.
Hualien is a beautiful town located on the west coast of Taiwan, it faces the Pacific Ocean with high mountains at its back, including the Jade Mountain with a peak at 12,998 feet (4 km or 2.5 miles high). Next to Hualien is the Taroko River Gorge, reputed to be longer and deeper than the Grand Canyon. The meeting starts at noon of the 22nd. On the evening of the 22nd, we will have a welcome banquet.
The meeting will have three sessions: one on advances in stem cell research, one on translational, and the third on clinical trials.
